	While waiting for the remnants of one of the hurricanes to pass, we tucked into a secluded cove. After four days, we were stir-crazy and ready to move back to civilization.


	Some of the homes on the Potomac approaching D.C. were huge.


	Mt. Vernon, George Washington's home, is just 16 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. by car; more by boat.
